May Speirs with tennis trophies

This is a photo of my late mother, May (Mary) Hamilton Speirs with the trophies she won at Wilding Park from age 21 onwards. This included single, doubles and mixed doubles. She was as strong as any partner (even in mixed doubles e.g. with Don France).

Commonwealth Games souvenirs and medals exhibition
