The funeral of Nurse Maude

14 July 1935

Many hundreds of people lined the route from the Cathedral to St Peter's Church, Upper Riccarton, for the funeral of Nurse Maude, founder of the District Nursing Service. The procession is shown leaving the Cathedral after the memorial service.
