Canterbury College observatory building on Hereford Street.
Contributor's note: "Old University with observatory. The Biological Laboratory and Observatory, designed by Benjamin Mountfort, was completed in 1896. The Townsend Observatory contained an equatorial telescope gifted to the College in 1891 by James Townsend."
