The car on the right with the angular radiator is a 1924-25 Essex, and behind it the distinctive curved radiator of a circa 1917 Overland. The small car on the left is an Austin 7 (the baby Austin). Unfortunately the number plates are not readable but I think the date of the photo is not later than 1929.

The former Beaths Department Store from 1933 - 1987, on the corner of Cashel and Colombo Streets, became Arthur Barnett's store in 1987 and subsequently part of the bus exchange. Also shows Pascoes Jewellery shop and All Blacks banner.
