Gloucester Street Synagogue demolition

The wedding of Mr L P Hayman of Sydney to Mrs Lillie Marks

1901

Mrs Lillie Marks was the third daughter of Mr Maurice Harris of Christchurch. The ceremony was celebrated by the Rev. I. Zachariah at Beth El Synagogue, Gloucester Street, Christchurch. The marriage took place under a silken canopy with four poles held by relatives of the bride.

Centenary celebrations at Gloucester Street synagogue
