Bishopdale from air, 1965
1965
The photo was taken from the passenger seat of a small plane about 1965. The Harewood Rd roundabout is at the bottom of the picture and the shopping centre next to it. No cars in the car park as it was a Sunday morning and the few shops that were there were shut.

Farmers Department Store, Bishopdale Mall

Interior of Bishopdale Giftware, Shop 44 in Bishopdale Village Mall, Bishopdale. The owner, in conversation with the photographer, said she loves Bishopdale as everyone is so friendly and kind. She has only been in NZ a year and not only now works in Bishopdale but also learnt skills at the Ara Bishopdale Campus just 50 meters away.
