Fendalton Garden club display at the Horticultural Festival

T. Thomson Confectioners Building on Lincoln Road

1996-97

Exterior of the former T. Thomson Confectioners building, built in 1913, at 275 Lincoln Road on the corner with Clarence Street in Addington. The Clarence Corner Market, a second hand shop, occupies the ground floor. A large sign on the side of the Thomson building is advertising The Warehouse.

Harry Smith sat with his horse and cart at the Christchurch Show where he won second prize. Harry Smith did deliveries with his horse and cart from town to Sign of the Bellbird and Harry Ell farm.
