Mural outside New Brighton's Esplanade Tavern

View of a mural designed by Christchurch signwriter Gavin McKay, showing a pictorial history of New Brighton on the wall outside the Esplanade Tavern. In front of the mural is Artist Clinton Burrell-Smith, creator of the mural, and Esplanade Tavern duty manager Leigh Claridge. The mural replaced the former one which was unpopular with residents who saw it as offensive and a step back for women's rights.
