Amelia Frances Rogers' riverbank home-cum-post office.

1993

The house was located on New Brighton Road, a little below the Avondale Bridge. The photographer stood on the eastern side to shoot this photograph which was taken shortly before the Christchurch City Council demolished the house in 1993. The Amelia Frances Rogers Reserve now stands on the site.
