North Facade, Former Sydenham Post Office

The Former Sydenham Post Office occupied a prominent corner site at the intersection of Colombo Street and Brougham Street. Built in 1912 during a period of major public works throughout New Zealand iit served as Sydenham's post office for eighty years until the 1990s. At the time of the photograph it was occupied by the Blue Cuisine Restaurant.
