"Ohau 1" for the Robert McDougall Art Gallery

Peter Simpson, president of the Friends of the Robert McDougall Art Gallery Print Club with Sue Cooke, printmaker, and her print "Ohau 1" stood outside the gallery. The print was purchased for the gallery's collections to be displayed in the Bealey Gallery.

100,000th 1984 visitor to Robert McDougall Art Gallery

18 October 1984

Roger Smith, exhibitions manager at the Robert McDougall Art Gallery presenting Kate Turrell with a copy of Te Maori outside the gallery. Kate was unexpectedly the 100,000th visitor to the gallery during 1984 and was presented with a book of Maori Art.
