Hearts for Christchurch Exhibition 2011-2012
30 September 2011
From the Hearts for Christchurch exhibition at the Canterbury Museum from September 2011 to February 2012. The 4000 hearts were inspired by Napier woman Evie Harris, who was moved to make a heart after seeing the destruction in Christchurch. Soon thousands of hand-stitched hearts began arriving in the city form all over the world.
