Horse drawn tram

"Taken by my father, Ian Tweedy. The website for the Tramway Historical Society indicates that,10 years after electric trams had stopped operating in the city, the restored no.43 ran as a horse-drawn tram on the last exposed section of track in Papanui Road. Given the number of spectators, this was presumably just a one-off event." - Contributor's note

"Oliver 4.5 yo is waiting patiently to hop back on the tram after a walk around the newly renovated CBD. He loves the tram and talks about them whenever we have a chance to go into the city, always stopping and waving. This was his first but not the last ride.
