Mairehau Playcentre in 1953/54
1953-54
Members of the Mairehau Playcentre on and around wooden slide. The Playcentre was held in a Community Hall on the site now occupied by Mairehau High School, there was an old farmhouse in a section behind the hall. The house and hall surrounded by paddocks (farmland). The street was Briggs Road opposite the end of Innes Road at the Hills Road, Kellys Road intersection.
