Elizabeth House, 6 Circuit Street, Merivale, was built in 1914 as a private home. By the mid 20th Century it was home to several organisations such as the Navy League, the Royal Victoria League, the Royal Commonwealth Society & the Nurse Maude Assication, as well as being used as a popular wedding venue. It was sold in the early 21st Century and continued as a function centre and wedding venue until it was damaged in the 2010-2011 earthquakes.

It was demolished in August 2011.
