Graffiti Art dinosaur

19 May 2011

This art work was created by DTR Crew & commissioned for a wall at the back of a site left vacant by the demolition of a block of suburban shops on the south-west corner of Edgeware Road and Barbadoes Street. The images (dinosaur etc.) are by Wongi 'freak' Wilson and the writing is by Ikarus. The menacing dinosaur seems both to deter taggers and show the destructive forces of the earthquakes. The medium used is spray paint.

As at May 2012 the shops have been replaced so the image is no longer visible, although a small portion of the lefthand side can be glimpsed down the side alley.
