Mini-golf at Spencer Park

10 January 1979

Adults and children playing mini golf at Spencer Park.
Contributor's note: "Spencer Park Domain family mini-golf competition. Old style mini-golf course. Short shorts, towelling hats, men and boys with no shirts."

Highly commended: 2013 Christchurch City Libraries Photo Hunt.

Judge's comment: "The images give us a real sense of how the family lived their life. It was interesting to see what events were chosen as important moments, holidays, snow, learning to ride a bike, the simple pleasures of sharing a meal or a BBQ and family interactions in their lounge."
