Billens Building, High Street

The original Billens building (built 1906) at 165-175 High Street. Damaged by earthquakes and later by fire. A new Billens Building was built on the same site in 2017. The McKenzie & Willis building can be seen next door and further on the former Post Office building, then Alice in Videoland then C1 Cafe. Shops on the ground floor included jewellery store Filigree and gift store One Big Sugar Bowl.
