The base of the Scott statute on display at Quake City exhibition, Cashel Street in 2016. The statue, which stood at the corner of Worcester Street and Oxford Terrace, was damaged in the 22 February 2011 earthquake.

The statue of Antarctic explorer Robert Falcon Scott broke at the base in the 22 February 2011 earthquake. Normally located at the corner of Worcester Street and Oxford Terrace the broken statue is an exhibit at Quake City, Cashel Street, 2016.
