Dorothy Bridges (born 1902) holding the reins and keeping her little brother Maurice (born 1906) safe. At the Buchanan's Road, Sockburn stable, where their father, James Alfred Bridges, was a successful horse trainer. This was later the site of the Toyota factory. Photo shows old MED building, the original tepid baths to the right; CCC Car parking building; Charlie B Backpackers (formerly Latimer Dance Hall); Latimer Square top right.
