Hillmorton High School students fundraising

15 November 1974

Hillmorton High School students pushing a wheeled contraption to raise money for paraplegics. Over 2 days the students will cover about 80 miles around a five mile and a half radius of the school and will be covered in four relays.

Cran Hearn with a Red Cross collection box

9 May 1990

Cran Hearn, a former Second World War prisoner of war who received Red Cross parcels during his imprisonment, stood on the construction site of the new Red Cross Society emergency relief building on Cashel Street. Hearn is holding a Red Cross donation box and has been fundraising for the charity to raise money for the new building.
