Mr Kennedy's hut in Arthurs Pass

circa 1919 and 1922/23

My Grandfather and father often went to Mr Kennedy's Hut in Arthurs Pass National Park usually in a music group. This earlier photo shows my dad in his Christchurch Boys' High uniform standing astride two rocks. This larger photo shows my dad again on the left of the group. The waterfall (Punch Bowl) was diverted for the building of the Otira Tunnel I was told.
