KOMOREBI
KOMOREBI
I happened to look up at the sky and found a natural beauty between the light and the leaves. I felt that’s so Japanese of me to find beauty in them. Because KOMOREBI 木漏れ日 is the word the Japanese have for when sunlight filters through the trees- the interplay between the light and the leaves. When I tried to translate it from Japanese to English,I figured out it is untranslated word. Even though I’ve determined to live here in New Zealand forever, my Japanese soul is still in my heart. I appreciate who I am today.
