No fear

In 2016 this blackbird decided to raise her young in a nest built in a pot plant, at head height, right beside our front door. She and her babies would freeze whenever we went in or out, but were otherwise fine with being close neighbours. She would even, after a few deeply suspicious looks, accept worms held out on chopsticks.
