Landslide near Little Port Cooper viewed from Godley Head

25 April 2019

Dust billows seconds after a deep roaring sound signaled the collapse of a huge section of the cliff near Little Port Cooper on ANZAC Day, as seen from Godley Head. Dark sediment and breaks in the water from another slip that occurred minutes earlier can be seen around the bottom of the cliff. The distinctive dark area off the cliff marks the material newly exposed due to the earlier slip.
