"The girl is standing on a cane chair to pose for a photo taken by her sister who is 12 years older. The fur coat was mad[e] from the fur of an old coat. Clothing had to last a lifetime and families handed clothes down to younger family members. The fur coat was cut down from an old one." - Contributor's note
