South Library entrance after a ram-raid

2 September 2005

The library was ram-raided early in the morning on 2 September 2005. Two stolen vehicles were backed through the plate glass doors about 4.30am. The first vehicle, a lime green Ford, was left in the library. The second vehicle was a late model silver Subaru station wagon. The two were backed in quickly behind each other. Two Hyundai plasma televisions were taken from the library.
