A New Brighton Dairy falls victim to the economic shutdown of Covid-19 Lockdown
Sadly, many small businesses started failing after maybe only a couple of weeks into the government-mandated Covid-19 Lockdown. In my bicycle rides daily to maintain my mental, physical and spiritual health, I would quite often discover a local small business that had failed. Someone posted on a New Brighton community Facebook page that this New Brighton Dairy had fallen victim to the economic shutdown of Covid-19 Lockdown. The owners were Chinese New Zealanders and very pleasant to deal with. I often popped into this Dairy for snacks, drinks and newspapers.
