Poplar Tree Removal
Poplar Tree Removal
Here the right-hand turning lane on the corner of Madras Street and Kilmore Street is closed to allow room to fell a tree.
Level 3 meant some work could begin around the city, including the removal of some decayed poplar trees near Margaret Mahy Playground. According to the Newsline report, the oldest trees were planted in the late 1920s. The removed trees are replaced with new, baby poplars.
