Ascot Millinery girls 1951
"Ascot Millinery girls in 1951. From left - Margaret Scott who worked in the office. Joyce Meal, Lois Parkinson and her sister, Val. Muriel Watts, Leila Helman, Miss Farr and Mrs Woolf (owner). Ascot Millinery made fashion hats and Marching team hats. Photo taken in front of the Edmonds Band Rotunda, which was later converted into a restaurant. Unfortunately it was damaged in the 2011 Christchurch earthquakes but is to be fully reinstated with the work due to be completed in 2021." - Contributor's note
