Buses at Stewart's Gully
Buses at Stewart's Gully
This photo was taken by family who had a holiday house there for many years. The buses were used as holiday homes. Their holiday house was taken over by the military during the Second World War to house soldiers guarding the coastline. When it was eventually given back, the family discovered the soldiers had been using the walls for bayonet practice - lots of holes.
