Hornby School (about 1916)

1916

Hornby School, about 1916, showing a class of (what appears to be on the board) Primer 1 & 2 children. My husband's maternal grandmother, Gwendoline Bigham, is in the second row, fourth from the right, with her sister Dorothy in the row behind, second from the right. Gwendoline would be 6 years old and Dorothy, 7.
