Palaspas or weaving cross to celebrate Palm Sunday
Palaspas is a decorative palm fronds and it is an important religious commodity that Filipinos weaved to start the Holy Week which falls on Palm Sunday. Supling Filipino Playgroup parents tried weaving a cross from a Harakeke instead of palm fronds.
