Ferrymead Bridge (Cantilever to Concrete transition in 1965)
The construction of the concrete road version of the Ferrymead Bridge beside the previous cantilever bridge. Originally in 1850, the site of a ferry crossing service, then in 1864 a swing bridge, then in 1907 the cantilever bridge, until its replacement in 1965 with the concrete road bridge.
