Mahaguyog Filipino Festival in Supling Filipino Playgroup
Mahaguyog Festival is a thanksgiving festival for bountiful harvest and an exhibit of the talents and skills of the people of the city of Sto. Tomas, Batangas, Philippines. Mahaguyog is taken from mais (corn), halaman (plants), gulay (vegetables), and niyog (coconut).
In this photo, the playgroup brought fruits and vegetables, set it up as a Filipino market where children can learn the names of the fruits and veggies in Filipino.
