University of Canterbury “Procesh” procession during Capping Week. Individuals identified in the photograph include, Judith Fairbrother (Queen Elizabeth II), Andrew Phipps (Duke of Edinburgh), Robin Reid (chauffeur), David Peters and Gavin Francis (police officers) and John Paerata (security). The sign affixed to the car reads “Govt. Royal Tour £50,000. Varsity Tour only 6/5d.” Canterbury Museum is visible in the background.
