Contributor’s note: “The crowd witnessing the presentation of the 1966 NZ Trotting Cup won by Lordship. The photo depicts the vast crowd wearing fashions of the day in front of the then three year old grandstand subsequently demolished following the Christchurch earthquake 22 February 2011. This photo was taken on an inclement Christchurch day at 1.30pm”.
