Contributor’s note: “Photograph taken just before sunset on a beautiful Friday evening (20.10.2023) upon the Kaiapoi River whilst having a hungry and 'not so helpful' helper. However I couldn't shoo him away as I figured that he was in far more need of a feed of whitebait than myself, so I helped him spot them as they swum over my whiteboard markers for him to devour”.
