Whale Stranding and Project Jonah Responders at South Brighton Beach, Christchurch.
On Saturday the 4th of November 2023, a sperm whale was stranded on the ocean side of a sandbar out from South Brighton Surf Club. It died late that evening. Project Jonah responds to strandings throughout the country.
