Wedding of Edward Augustus Clarke & Lucy Gertrude (nee Price)

December 1903

This is the 1903 wedding photo of Edward (Ted) & Lucy Clarke. The marriage was performed at the home of her older sister and then they must have all piled out into a nearby paddock for this photo. Lucy is holding an enormous bouquet & Ted next to her. Seated (with another bouquet) is her sister and bridesmaid Annie Price. The man standing between Lucy & Annie was the best man George Hubert Price. To the right is Lucy's parents (Arthur & Elizabeth Price) and to the right of them seated in black sitting on the ground is Ted's mother Ellen Clarke. All the group standing behind are Lucy's brothers & sisters & their spouses and their children at the front. (This photo was restored by Grant Kemp - Restore your Past, UK)
