Chiacchiere di Carnevale - Carnival Fritters
Chiacchiere di Carnevale - Carnival Fritters
Home-made chiacchiere to celebrate Carnival. These are eaten in Italy for Carnival and are made of strips of fried dough dusted with icing sugar. They have many different names throughout Italy: lattughe, frappe, and bugie are just a few. In Christchurch we can't buy them already made, so we make our own.
