Subli, a traditional Filipino Dance

25 June 2023

Subli is a folkdance in the Philippines which is considered to be a favorite from Bauan, Batangas. It is a ceremonial worship dance performed in homage to the Holy Cross referred to in the vernacular as Mahal Na Poong Santa Cruz. In this video, the mothers of Supling Filipino Playgroup performed the Subli for International Celebration at Crossway Community Church in Richmond.
