Three unidentified children waiting for a dental check-up on the Chatham Islands. One child is seated on a kitchen seat, with the nurses standing behind ready to perform the check-up, and the others awaiting their turn.

Contributors note: “The dental nurse used to come out to the Chatham Islands once a year. She would set up in our kitchen and all the children would come to our place for their annual check-up.”
