Contributor's Note: "Ken, the Mute Swan (right), with his new mate Barbie at Swan Lake. After his mate Samantha died Ken spent several lonely months searching the Ōpāwaho Heathcote River for a new companion. His plight was noted by neighbours who created a profile for him on the Tinder dating app. Barbie recently arrived from a farm in Hawkes Bay."
