Group portrait taken outside the ChristChurch Cathedral. The group is from Booth McDonald’s and are going on a staff picnic. Billy Walls is identified on the right, next to the horse. Handwritten annotation on reverse reads “Booth McDonald’s staff picnic. Grandad Walls bottom right. Born 20 Feb 1886. Married 1913 Jan.”

Contributors note: “Booth McDonald were metal workers and made farm equipment past Tuam Street. Billy Walls is on the right next to the horse.”
