Collateral damage

Collateral damage
A large cherry blossom tree with significant damage, and several of the large branches discarded at its base. The tree is in the grounds of the former Airport Lodge Motel that is being demolished, and the old reception and managers’ quarters are visible behind the tree.
Contributor's note: "When this tree was in full bloom, it was a magnificent sight. Guests would line up to have their photos taken together beneath. At the end of a shift during a nor’ wester, the car was covered in blossom, giving the appearance of a late season snow dump. The tree was such a central aspect of the business, that it formed the motel's logo."
