Transporting Akaroa Lighthouse into town
Convoy of trucks carrying sections of the disassembled Akaroa Lighthouse, rounding the bend from Lighthouse Road to Ōnuku Road.
Contributors note: "4 October 1980 moving of the Akaroa Lighthouse from the north head to the township, turning off Lighthouse Road onto Onuku Road. Akaroa Lighthouse has the rights to be able to use the photographs to promote the lighthouse, and these form part of our historical collection."
