Young cornet jazz musician
Young cornet jazz musician
Young jazz musician practising the cornet at home.
Contributors note: "Te Kura Puoro (Christchurch School of Music) was situated in the lovely old convent on the corner of Barbadoes St and Ferry Rd when Angus played the cornet in the jazz band. Here he is diligently practicing at home. Angus has cerebral palsy so had to use his left hand to press the valves. The kura had to move out of the convent after the earthquakes and now on a Saturday morning you can see kids carrying their instruments into Avonhead School for their lessons."
