Inside Sunnyside Hospital, graffiti left by past residents
Graffiti on the walls of the derelict former Sunnyside Hospital reads, ‘Barrie, Michael, inmates’.
Contributors note: "This photo was taken inside the old Sunnyside psychiatric hospital. I hope Barrie and Micheal are doing ok. There were huge changes for many people in our community when the old hospitals closed. For some, it will have been for the good and for others, not so much. It is often hard to find your place in the community and we all somehow expect everyone to be the same as us. If we don’t see them as being like us, we often ignore them, but the city is for us all."
