VAKA ‘A HINA sculpture silhouetted against sky.

Contributors note: "This photo was taken in August 2025, featuring the Pasifika sculpture in Rauora Park. The sculpture not only stands as a landmark of Christchurch but also as a symbol of the city’s cultural diversity and mutual understanding. With a beautiful halo encircling the sun, the scene seemed to radiate both the warmth of the winter light and the warmth shared among the people who call Christchurch home."
